Babywearing ponch update

January 28, 2008 § 1 Comment

I can’t believe I didn’t think of this earlier. Sew a foot (more or less) of elastic (stretched out, of course) to the head opening for the child. Now that I’m thinking more about it, I may just go back and sew another foot of elastic to the part of the opening that is against my back (as opposed to the part of the opening against the back of bilingual baby’s head and neck. Anyway, as you can see, it a better fit and doesn’t sag. You could also create a casing and insert the elastic if you don’t want to sew it onto the fabric.
